As web designer and developer for When People Work, Jason Cockrell will head the digital marketing department, which falls under the director of communications. Cockrell has 20 years of digital experience. He comes to his role with extensive experience in small business and community-driven digital concepts.

Cockrell has worked as lead web developer, graphic designer, and creative director in various projects over his career. His client driven approach has allowed him to build great relationships with small and large businesses throughout the southern US. He has a great passion for working with organizations that focus on developing and supporting the communities of eastern North Carolina. His dream is to work for a company that has social justice at its core.
