Frank Zarro founded In Our Name in 2012 as a civic learning and advocacy organization dedicated to bringing public attention to social, economic, procedural, and restorative justice matters and to assisting justice involved people and their families in dealing with the criminal justice process and its aftermath.

ION was founded on the premise that if people know how broken our criminal justice system is, they will want to fix it.

Zarro is a member and serves as Advisor to First Fairfield Associates; a Connecticut social enterprise firm and the primary financial backer of WPW and also founded Society Impact to assist and advise on public private partnerships and outcomes. 

Most recently Zarro has established When People Work which is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. WPW will work with justice impacted people returning from prison or jail and veterans who are returning from service, as well as veterans who have been out of service for any length of time.
