Angelique Legette has over 20 years as a paralegal.  She held the position of Paralegal Specialist with the Office of the Attorney General and was employed in a private law firm that practiced civil and family law.

Legette was appointed the paralegal for the Legal Redress Committee of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. In that role she fielded various complaints against local and county agencies. Legette sits on numerous boards and committees as a community advocate in Eastern North Carolina.

Legette obtained her degrees in Legal Assisting, A.A.S., Criminal Justice, B.S. and Management and Public Administration, MA. She believes her education, training and experience with law enforcement provides her a unique perspective as a social justice advocate, to assist in changing policy in areas that disenfranchise minority and low-income citizens.   

Legette will join the legal team as a paralegal.
